At Alloa Golf Club we believe that junior golfers are the future of our club and as such we have introduced a pathway of development for young golfers.Our aim is to deliver this in partnership with our club professionals, committee and club members. Our youth development system introduces young golfers to our Go Golf development pathway. This development pathway introduces the player to our short and mini courses dependent on the golfers ability.The final stage of development is the achievement of a handicap.This can be achieved after the young player takes out a membership of the club at juvenile/junior levels.

Junior Season 2013

There will be a full calendar of fixtures for the 2013 season beginning in April to coincide with the Easter Holiday and the start of the season. We will be introducing the following this season:

• Junior short course - introduced to help the younger golfer enjoy a more managable shorter course.
• Stableford Order of Merit – 2 medals per month
• Strokeplay Order of Merit –  2 medals per month
• Club Trophy Competitions
• Home and Away Challenge matches with other local clubs for all handicap levels (Sundays)
• Junior Team Kit
• Junior Club Championship final on finals day
• Facebook page
• On-line Medal booking
• Results in Local Paper

Memberships are available for Juveniles (to 15 years) for only £40 and only £70 for Junior’s (up to 18 years old). Fees payable by 31st of March 2013.
